Coconut Oils are healthy and give a high level of MCF's with quality mono- and poly-unsaturated fatty acids. Our Coconut Oils are non hydrogenated and non GMO.

  • Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

Our Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is derived from the milk obtained from fresh coconut meat by centrifugal separation, and care is taken to use no heat in the extraction process. Produced in this way, the oil tastes and smells at its best and is rich with antioxidants and medium chain fatty acids. This is one of the most trusted varieties of Coconut Oil.

  • Organic Coconut Oil, with low melting point

This Coconut Oil is very stable and has a long shelf life with rancidity-resistant properties. The low melting point ensures this Coconut Oil is liquid at even low temperatures.

This type is obtained by mechanically purifying and deodorising the coconut oil, making it thin, odourless and without any particle suspension.

Physical characteristics of coconut oil

Coconut Oil is composed of more than 85% saturated fats. The majority are medium-chain triglycerides (MCT's) of which lauric acid is the dominant. It is this lauric acid which gives coconut oil its white cream color in the stable (solid) state. In the gut, lauric acid and other MCT's are absorbed directly into the bloodstream without any barriers, and thus save energy and induce an early sense of satiety. Additionally, MCTs help increase blood HDL or good cholesterol levels in the blood.

Cold pressed virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) has a light-yellow color and a pleasant coconut flavour with a sweet taste. Its specific gravity at 25 °C is 0.917–0.919; iodine value is 7.5–10.5; and saponification value s 251–263.

Coconut Oil is one of the most concentrated sources of energy - 100 g oil has 884 calories.
